What does wet-on-wet mean? Wet-on-wet means that the second coat is applied while the first coat is still wet. Two coats of the Countertop 770 are required wet-on-wet. The second coat is applied immediately after the first coat while the first coat is still wet, since the Countertop 770 is a hydrophobic product it will try to repel the second coat if the second coat is applied after the first coat has dried.
Does the concrete need to be dry before sealing? Yes, the concrete needs to be as dry as possible before sealing. We recommend the moisture content of the concrete be less than 4% wt. It is recommended to wait at least 24-48 hours after rain and pressure washing before sealing.
What do you mix the concentrate with? The Countertop 770 is mixed with water. 1 pint of Countertop 770 is mixed with 3 pints of water.
How do I mix the Countertop 770 product with water? The Countertop 770 is a concentrated product that needs to be mixed with water prior to application. Pour the 16 oz. (Pint) of Countertop 770 into a small bucket. Next add 3 pints of water into the bucket. Mix the water and 770 mixture well. You can then dip a small roller or brush into the bucket to apply.
What is the difference between the Countertop 770 and the Countertop 660? The Countertop 660 is a water based acrylic countertop sealer that will leave a low sheen finish. The Countertop 770 is a penetrating countertop sealer that will leave a natural finish.
