Siloxa-Tek 8500

Water Repellent
Salt Repellent
Water-Based
Ready-to-use
Concentrated

The 8500 is the easiest to use and most versitle concrete sealer we offer. Best used on driveways in climates exposed to winter and freeze-thaw cycles providing protecion against water and deicing salts. Best used in basements to prevent moisture intrusion. Best used on patios to resist mold, midlew, efflorescence and water penetration.

The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is our favorite product to treat nearly any application. This concrete sealer can be used on a variety of substrates including concrete, brick, pavers, stamped concrete and exposed aggregate. The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is a water-based penetrating sealer that leaves a natural finish, meaning it will not change the look or appearance of the concrete.

The 8500 is used to protect driveways from deicing salts and mag chlorides. If concrete is left unsealed it can result in spalling, pitting and cracking. The Siloxa-Tek 8500 is able to resist deicing salt damage and keep concrete strong and waterproof. The 8500 is also used to treat basement floors and walls, paver patios, pool decks, chimneys and more.

Available in a ready to use version, or an ultra concentrated version. The ultra concentrated version makes 5 gallons and is mixed with 4 gallons of distilled water prior to application. Two coats are easily applied wet-on-wet (the second coat is applied immediately after the first coat while the first coat is still wet) with a sprayer, roller or brush.

To increase the strength and performance of the Siloxa-Tek 8500, apply one coat of the Lithi-Tek 4500 five to seven days prior to sealing with the Siloxa-Tek 8500.

The Micro-Degreaser 1100 can be used to degrease and remove soils and stains prior to using the Siloxa-Tek 8500.

Siloxa-Tek 8505

Water Repellent
Oil Repellent
Salt Repellent
Water-Based
Ready-to-use
Concentrated

The Siloxa-Tek 8505 is the water-based and low VOC version of the Siloxa-Tek 8510.

We took our favorite all-around, concrete sealer and made it even better. Take all the best attributes of 8500 - resists water intrusion, deicing salts and chlorides and add to it resistance from staining. The same stain resistance technology found in the 8510 is also in this water based product, making oil and grease clean up easier. The main difference between the 8510 and the 8505 is that the 8510 uses a solvent as a carrier and the 8505 uses water as a carrier.

Available in a ready to use version, or an ultra concentrated version. The ultra concentrated version makes 5 gallons and is mixed with 4 gallons of distilled water prior to application. Two coats are easily applied wet-on-wet with a sprayer, roller or brush.

To increase the strength and performance of the Siloxa-Tek 8505, apply one coat of the Lithi-Tek 4500 five to seven days prior to sealing with the Siloxa-Tek 8505.

Oil Repellent
Salt Repellent
Solvent-Based
Ready-to-use

The Siloxa-Tek 8510 is our highest performing and longest lasting penetrating concrete sealer. Best used on concrete, brick or masonry to protect against water and resist deicing salts and staining from oils and greases.

The Siloxa-Tek 8510 is our flagship concrete sealer and a triple threat when it comes to protecting against water, deicing salts and stain resistance from oils and greases. Because of the small amount of solvent carrier, this high actives penetrating sealer is the deepest penetrating and longest lasting sealer in the Siloxa-Tek line.

Available only in a ready to use version, two coats are easily applied wet-on-wet with a solvent rated sprayer, roller or brush. The concrete retains its natural, flat finish after sealing.

To increase the strength and performance of the Siloxa-Tek 8510, apply one coat of the Lithi-Tek 4500 five to seven days prior to sealing with the Siloxa-Tek 8510.

Cryli-Tek 5505

Solvent-Based
Ready-to-use

Best used where a high gloss or wet look finish is desired to enhance and darken the substrate.

When you are looking to bring out the colors and textures of a substate with a clear, non-yellowing finish the 5505 is an excellent choice. Since the 5505 is solvent based, it is the longest lasting sealer in the Cryli-Tek line. The 5505 can be applied to a substrate that has been previously sealed as long as the previous sealer was a solvent based acrylic. Keep in mind acrylic sealers do not last as long as penetrating sealers and may need to be reapplied more frequently.

One thin, even coat of the 5505 is applied with a 3/8” nap solvent rated high quality roller.

The 5505 may be slippery when wet. The Grip-Tek 250 slip resistant additive can be mixed in to the 5505 for added traction. If the wet look finish of the 5505 is too shiny the Matte-Tek 5000 may be added to reduce the gloss.

Cryli-Tek 5500

Water-Based
Ready-to-use

Best used where a satin or low sheen finish is desired. This low VOC, water based sealer will not enhance or darken the substrate but will give it a subtle shine.

We took all the best attributes of the 5505 - clear, non-yellowing, UV stable and made it into a satin finish water-based formulation. It is not overly glossy or shiny but will keep the patio protected from weathering while remaining breathable.

The 5500 is water based and VOC compliant in all 50 states making it a great option in areas with strict VOC laws.

One thin, even coat of the 5500 is applied with a 3/8” nap high quality roller.

Keep in mind acrylic sealers do not last as long as penetrating sealers and may need to be reapplied more frequently.

Lithi-Tek 4500

Water-Based
Concentrated

Best used as a primer before using a concrete sealer or during the concrete floor polishing process if a polished concrete floor finish is desired.

The Lithi-Tek 4500 is a penetrating lithium silicate based concrete densifier that can make concrete up to 50% stronger. Lithium based silicates penetrate deeper and work better than traditional sodium silicate based densifiers. The 4500 can also be used as a primer on poured concrete substrates before using a concrete sealer. In addition to making the concrete stronger, the 4500 acts as a bonding agent to increase the adhesion of the subsequent sealer. The 4500 also makes concrete less porous and works great when used in conjunction with a water repellent sealer.

By using the 4500 prior to polishing concrete it will make the concrete harder and will give it more of a shine to resist stains and water damage. If concrete densifier is not used during the polishing process the concrete can wear faster and lose its shine quicker.

Lithi-Tek 4500 is concentrated and needs to be mixed with distilled water prior to application. One part Lithi-Tek 4500 is mixed with 3 parts water. One coat is applied with either a sprayer or roller.

The 880 leaves a similar finish to the 770; however, its high actives content, ease of application, deeper penetration and longer lifespan set it apart. The 880 is able to resist light staining from household substances causing fluids to sit on top of the concrete rather than penetrating into the concrete giving you a few extra minutes time to wipe up the spill. The Countertop Sealer 880 is easy to apply and is ready to use right out of the container - no mixing is required. Two coats wet-on-wet (immediately apply a second coat while the first coat is still wet) are recommended. Use in conjunction with a countertop wax for an extra layer or protection.

Epoxy 325

Oil Repellent
Salt Repellent
Chemical Resistant
Water-Based
Two-component

Best used as a primer before using the Urethane 645 top coat. This durable epoxy floor coating repels chemicals, stops dusting and resists abrasions in a clear or colored semi-gloss finish

The Epoxy 325 is the first step in an epoxy floor coating system. This primer is applied after the concrete has been etched or grind-ed. Before applying an epoxy floor coating it is best to scarify and rough up the surface of the concrete in order for the coating to properly bond and adhere. This can be achieved by acid etching and neutralizing the concrete or by mechanically grinding the concrete with a floor grinder.

Once the surface has been properly prepped the Epoxy 325 can then be applied with an epoxy glide roller. The Epoxy 325 is available in a two component kit. Each kit contains a Part A and a Part B. Part A and Part B are mixed together with a drill or jiffy mixer. Once Part A and Part B are mixed the Epoxy 325 must be applied within 1 hour. About 7-10 hours after applying the Epoxy 325, the Urethane 645 can then be applied as a top coat.

The Epoxy 325 is available in clear or colored. If you are using a colored epoxy primer you are going to want to use the same color top coat. Paint chips (for decoration) or aluminum oxide (for slip resistance) can be cast into the wet epoxy and then top coated with the Urethane 645.

The combination of the Epoxy 325 primer and Urethane 645 top coat are excellent at stopping dusting, repelling oils, greases, chemicals and acids; however, they can only be used on indoor concrete floors.

If there is moisture in the concrete prior to application first use the Vapor-Tek 440.

The Micro-Degreaser 1100 can be used to degrease and remove soils and stains prior to using the Epoxy 325.

The Hydro-Etch 1000 can be used to etch the concrete prior to applying the Epoxy 325.

Urethane 645

Oil Repellent
Chemical Resistant
Solvent-Based
Two-component

Best used as a top coat after using the Epoxy 325 primer. This durable urethane floor coating repels chemicals, stops chemicals and resists abrasions in a clear or colored high-gloss finish

The Urethane 645 is typically applied about 7-10 hours after applying the Epoxy 325. If more than 48 hours have elapsed since the Epoxy 325 primer has been applied it is best to lightly sand the surface of the Epoxy 325 to maximize the bond and adhesion of the Urethane 645.

The Urethane 645 is also available clear or colored and in a two component kit. Each kit contains a Part A and a Part B. Part A and Part B are mixed together with a drill or jiffy mixer. Once Part A and Part B are mixed the Urethane 645 must be applied within 2 hours.

One coat of the Urethane 645 is best applied with an epoxy glide roller. The Urethane 645 leaves a high gloss finish and is extremely easy to clean. However, it can also be slippery when wet. If maximum traction is desired 46 Grit Aluminum Oxide can be cast into the wet Epoxy 325 and then coated with the Urethane 645. If lesser traction is desired a slip resistant additive can be mixed into a kit of Urethane 645.

The combination of the Epoxy 325 primer and Urethane 645 top coat are excellent at stopping dusting, repelling oils, greases, chemicals and acids; however, they can only be used on indoor concrete floors.

Because of VOC restrictions in the State of California, the Urethane 645 cannot be used. A California compliant version of the Urethane is available for use in California.

Vapor-Tek 440

100% Actives
Two-component

Best used on concrete floors with a high moisture content (up to 20lbs/24hr/1000ft) or prior to installing wood, carpet, tile or epoxy flooring

If the concrete basement floor has a high moisture content the Vapor-Tek 440 is the product to use. This two-component epoxy coating is designed to reduce moisture vapor emission rates of up to 20lb/24hr/1000ft. If you are going to be installing carpet, tile or wood this is the product to use to prevent any moisture from traveling and dis-bonding the flooring. It is also an excellent choice to use the Vapor-Tek 440 as a primer before installing an epoxy floor.

Each gallon will cover up to 100 square feet at 17 mils thickness and will leave a clear, gloss finish. Part A is mixed with Part B prior to application and installed with an epoxy glide roller. The Vapor-Tek 440 will stop dusting, can be applied to concrete as little as 10 days old and only requires one coat.

The Vapor-Tek 440 does have a short pot life which means once Part A and Part B are mixed together it needs to be applied within 30-40 minutes. Once the pot life has been reached the product can no longer be applied. The Vapor-Tek 440 is dry and ready for foot traffic within 24 hours and fully cured in 3-7 days.

Iso-Cure 8525

Water Repellent
Salt Repellent
Water-Based
Ready-to-use

This penetrating silane cure & seal concrete sealer holds moisture in a protective film helping concrete fully hydrate. While simultaneously preventing water & salt penetration and protecting against freeze-thaw cycling.

The Iso-Cure 8525 is a cure and seal for freshly poured exterior concrete that penetrates the substrate preventing water and de-icing salt penetration while also leaving a film. This film holds in moisture by helping concrete fully hydrate. The silane component of this product provides long term protection against water and deciding salt damage.

By using this product instead of a traditional cure and seal, you bypass the step of having to apply a penetrating sealer 28 days after the initial cure and seal application. Not only does this save time but it reduces labor costs and the concrete is ready to use weeks sooner.

The Iso-Cure 8525 is applied with a low pressure airless sprayer as soon as all bleed water has dissipated and within 2 hours of the final finish.

Polyaspartic 745

Oil Repellent
Salt Repellent
Chemical Resistant
Solvent-Based
Two-component

The longest lasting and best performing countertop sealer we offer. This high gloss, wet look formula is able to withstand food stains, spills, chemicals and abrasions.

The Polyaspartic 745 is typically used in commercial kitchens and bars since it is the most durable countertop sealer available. The Polyaspartic 745 can also be used on warehouse floors and is able to stand up to forklift traffic, chemicals and abrasions so using it on a concrete countertop is a no brainer. The 745 can only be used on interior concrete countertops and leaves the surface with a high gloss finish. Since it is a coating rather than a sealer it sits on top of the concrete providing a smooth surface environment that allows for easy clean up and completely stops anything from penetrating through it. Before applying the 745 we recommend sanding the concrete countertop with a 220 grit pad to ensure the surface has enough porosity for the coating to adhere to. The Polyaspartic 745 is sold in a 2 part kit, so you need to mix Part A with Part B. It has a short workable life, which means once you mix Part A with Part B you have about 15 minutes to apply it before it begins to harden and is unworkable. You do need to let the countertop dry for at least a full 24 hours before use. Once cured you are left with an extremely durable, high gloss concrete countertop.
